We feel it’s important to understand ALL the steps in actually creating comic books. Understanding the the whole development process – the writing process, pencilling stages, the inking, the coloring, the editing, the designing and layouts, the approval (if needed) and of course then the printing – and understanding the steps needed helps produce more effective work as part of the team. For example, a professional book designer has to set their work up in a specific way for the printers, also the work supplied to the designer has certain requirements too. By understanding each steps helps define the work in a more productive way.
